As if to top a bad week on the stump Romney crowned it off by holding a rabble rousing speech for the Detroit Economic Club in Detroit’s Ford Field Stadium yesterday. Except it wasn’t very rousing and the rabble didn’t attend. Not of course that you might have noticed if you followed the official versions. There the focus was on the candidate on his podium and a few close casts round on the nearer rows of seats. You would have thought it fairly well attended.
Trouble is these days the bloggers all have camera phones and within hours the truth was all over the net swiftly followed by the papers. A big speech with a small crowd. The picture above is just my favourite out of many. By Scott Olson.
Romney is beginning to struggle, an empty suit in an empty stadium, running an empty campaign,

So, apart from his travelling entourage, roadies and the grounds staff, nobody else attended?
