Oh, to be a fly on the wall at De La Rue, the banknote printer. Do you think they have designs for a new Greek currency stashed away, “Just in case” Not that they would admit to it, because that would turn the possibility of default into a certainty. But what else are they going to use for money – unless you start overprinting Greek Euros.- but surely not, that was only a scare story in the Daily Mail

Yes I would agree that Greece leaving the Eurozone would not mean the end of the Euro. It might however mean the end of a number of over indulgent and greed ridden banks! Which would not be a bad thing itself. Indeed some commentators suggest that the reluctance of the Eurozone political classes to let Greece go is because she might do rather well, as Argentina did when it unlocked from the dollar.
