“Ronnie….Ronnie darling….is that you…”

You will no doubt have noted that Maggie has been taken into hospital.  She has not been well recently and there are dark whispers of “infections”.

And so a scene swims before us as from a Dan Brown novel: the sainted Margaret bolstered upon a sea of pillows in a darkened room, breathing shallowly, slipping quietly away when behold news come hot afoot from her acolytes Cameron and Osborne  of their rolling back government.  Rallying at the last, hopeful of seeing her life’s work fulfilled she hears news from the colonies of the Tea Party’s successes in the mid-term elections which fills her with renewed vigour.
