This week’s big ecclesiastical and banking news is that The Church of England has decided to jump in and buy a swath of branches from the dire remnants of the Royal Bank and revive the old bank name of Williams and Glyn as an ethical bank in competition to the demon ridden scum of the devil most of us make pacts with.  What chance it catches on in Wall Street?
